Birthday Party FAQs
1. What if I don't know how many players will be in attendance?
You can book for as few as 3 players to lock in the date and time. You can then add additional players on the day of the event. All of our games are private so your group will have the escape room to yourself.
2. Do you have a party room?
We do not have a party room. However, due to our central downtown location were in walking distance to several pizza places and two ice cream parlors, all of which are great local establishments that make for a great party!
3. Can kids play?
We love having kids in the escape room, children under the age of 15 are required to have at least 1 paid adult in the room. If the children are under 12 we recommend 1 adult for every 4 kids to help with the flow of the game.
4. What if we have more players than the listed maximum?
The max of 8 or 10 is a recommended maximum for adults. We have had more than that in the room but it does start to get crowded. For the "Get to the Game" Room 8 kids and a couple adults is a safe number and for the "X Marks the Spot" game 10 kids and a couple adults is a safe number. Keep in mind that you have to pay for everyone that goes into the room.
5. What game do you recommend for 9-12 year old's.
The "Get to the Game" room would be a more appropriate challenge for that age group but it is a smaller space. See FAQ #4 about group size. If your group would fit in the "Get to the Game" room that would be a better outing. We do have a few small changes that we make to both room to make it more age appropriate (we do not tell the kids they are playing a modified game)
6. What if we need to change our plans?
While all of our bookings are nonrefundable, we understand that things happen. If you need to move your booking for any reason give us a call at least 24 hours prior to your booking and we can reschedule it for you or issue you a credit for a future date.
